*European Pollutant Emission Register (EPER)
EPER, the European Pollutant Emission Register, was launched on 23 February 2004 by the European Commission together with the European Environment Agency and is the first Europe-wide register of emissions from industries into air and water. It covers detailed information on 50 pollutants from around 10 000 large industrial facilities in the EU and Norway.
