 Added to Case Law* Case C-392/99, ECJ, 10 April 2003, Commission v Portugal ECJ upheld all Commission’s complaints regarding Portuguese waste oil treatment laws. Portuguese law did not require oil regenerators or incinerators to use the best available technology, it did not ensure combustion residues were properly disposed of, and it did not provide for inspection of treatment facilities.
