Added to the Conferences Page <http://www.eel.nl/>COPERNICUS ENVIRONMENTAL LAW SUMMER SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP FOR YOUNG RESEARCHERS AND PROFESSIONALS In a previous EEL News Service, an announcement of the COPERNICUS-Programm of the European University Association EUA was made on the 6th COPERNICUS European Environmental Law Summer School, to be held 14-18 July 2003 at the Palau des Heures of the University of Barcelona. Via this special issue, we would like to draw your attention to the possibility to obtain a scholarship for this summer school. The COPERNICUS-CAMPUS, the European University Network for Sustainability, invites young researchers (also PhD students) and young professionnals, both under the age of 35, working on European Environmental Law issues to present their research work at the European Environmental Law Summer School 2003. In total 15 contributions will be selected for financial support.

CONTRIBUTIONS

Contributions for the Environmental Law School will report on original research, emerging issues and/or developments that have not previously been presented elsewhere and that make new contributions in the area of environmental law in Europe.

Topics for the Environmental Law Summer School concern both horizontal and sectoral aspects of Environmental law, such as:

. Integration and implementation of European environmental law . Civil society and environmental law . Trade and environmental law . Water and Air . Natural Resources and Waste . Nature and Biodiversity . Others

Contributions shall be related to European Law (European Union, Council of Europe…) and/or European Comparative Law. The language of the Summer School is English.

If your submission is accepted, your name, abstract and biography will be included on the Environmental Law Summer School Web pages.
